Zástupce značky WELL, L2 managed switch WELL WPoES-8262, je díky své podpoře napájení přes síť Ethernet (PoE) s detailní a přehlednou správou přes webové rozhraní vhodný zejména do všech prostředí vyžadujících zapojení VoIP telefonů, WiFi AP (přístupových bodů), web kamer apod. kompatibilních se standardem IEEE 802.3af. Díky podpoře PoE na všech portech můžeme zajistit zálohované napájení všech připojených zařízení i při výpadku napájecí sítě v jejich okolí a zjednodušit jejich správu a zapojení. WELL WPoES-8262 poskytuje 24 RJ-45 portů pro 10/100Mbps Ethernet s automatickou negociací, Auto-MDIX a s napájením po síťovém kabelu (Power over Ethernet - PoE) všech kompatibilních zařízení (standard IEEE 802.3af). Je plně kompatibilní se standardy IEEE 802.3/u/x/z/ab/af. Nabízí dva duální gigabitové porty – dva RJ-45 porty pro 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet nebo dva 1000Mbps SFP sloty pro 1000SX/1000LX moduly s Auto MDI/MDIX. Dále má switch implementovány např. protokoly QoS (Quality of Service - řízení datových toků), filtrování MAC adres, zrcadlení portů (Port Mirroring), má pokročilé funkce řízení přístupu a detailní správu řízení šířky přenosového pásma.
