Jeho přednosti jsou následující v porovnání s Delta 300GPS 2L

Delta X obsahuje nebo umi:
- Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition (jako Delta 300GPS)
- Má 64MB RAM (jako Delta 300GPS) má však další interní Flash uložiště 25MB, které se nesmaže ani po kompletnim Hard Resetu zařízení (FlashDisk)
- Nový procesor od Intelu Xscale270 s taktem 312MHz
- Ma otočnou anténu GPS pro použití PDA na ležato (vhodné pro navigaci v autě)
- Při otočení antény GPS, se automaticky otočí i orientace displeje o 90 stupňů
- Obsahuje nejnovější GPS modul SIRF III s dvaceti kanály příjmu (Delta 300GPS má SIRF - 12 kanálů)
- Příjem GPS je díky SIRF III ještě přesnější a má ještě rychlejší náběh nalezení satelitů GPS.
- Delta X má standardní malý USB konektor jako digitální fotoaparáty, takže není potřeba speciálních kabelů (jedinečné řešení mezi PDA)
- Delta X má napájení přímo z hostitelského USB počítače, takže není potřeba žádný externí napaječ jako u Delta 300GPS či Alpha

Designově je Delta X velice povedená a designově kombinuje barvy stříbrného kovů a černého materiálu. Též má nově propracované ovládání přes nový integrovaný Jog ovladač.

Tloušťka PDA tak sice nepatři k nejnižším, což na stranu druhou přispívá pohodlnějšímu a jistějšímu držení. U tenkých PDA mám pocit, jako by mi měly každou chvílí vyklouznout z dlaně.
