This switch integrates 100Mbps Fast Ethernet switch and 10Mbps Ethernet network capabilities in highly flexible package. Power over Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) is the ability for wired Local Area Networks to allow the electrical current necessary for the operation of each device, to be carried by the data cables rather than by power cords. Port 1 ~ 8 of POE-FSH1608 support PoE which supplies power for connected devices via Cat5 and above cables. By integration of data transmitting cable and power cord, it eliminates the effort constructing your network. It will auto detect the presence of an IEEE802.3af compliant power device (PD) and supply power through the port. The switch provides up 15.4W per PoE port and can be used to power AP, IP phone, IP Cam and other PD devices. Over current protection and short-circuit protection are also supported to ensure the safety. Plug and Play The Switch is plug-and-play without any software to configure and also fully compliant with all kinds of network protocols. The LED indicators on the front panel would help user to diagnose status of individual port and system.
