CONTENT TRANSFER

Players who begin playing NHL 23 on ^{PlayStation®4}or Xbox One will have the option to transfer their team's value in HUT and progress to the ^{PlayStation®5}or Xbox Series X|S version, depending on which next-generation platform they own. Transferring content means that within NHL 23:

? users can protect 20 player + coach items on their current roster and transfer them to the new console.

? When content is transferred from ^{PlayStation®4}to ^{PlayStation®5}or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, content from the older-generation platform will be made non-negotiable for security reasons.

? All coins and items remaining in your collection will be added to your account on the next-generation platform in tradable packages of similar value.

This one-time transfer of content will be available with the update coming out on November 8.

CROSS-PLATFORM GAME CREATION

The cross-platform game creation feature in HUT and World of Chel, currently planned as part of the post-release update, will reduce the wait before matches and bring in more players so you and your teammates can test your skills against more teams than ever before.

LAST-MINUTE PUCK MOVEMENT

A new series of in-game animations in hopeless situations will add a new level of authenticity and excitement to the game.

Action on loss of stability: attempt a pass or shot after any intense contact. Even if you get into hopeless situations, you'll always be able to keep playing, plus they'll result in spectacular set-piece moments. And with over 500 loss-of-stability animations, every moment will be as exciting as the last.

Turn everyloose puck into an opportunity - double-tap the pass or shoot button for an incredible action that could end in a goal or a puck clearance.

Improved goalie AI: Goalies controlling the game using the user control system now have access to over 50 new human player reflexive action groups, bringing the total to over 350 new action animations.

X-FACTOR - UPDATE

New X-Factor animations: with X-Factor, Trevor Zegras' "Experience" allows you to mimic his popular flip-flop over the goal, while Sarah Nurse's "Endurance" enhances a player's ability to shoot or pass even when losing stability.

X-Factor - AI Enhancements Smarter AI creates better game situations where players control the game using enhanced X-Factors to greater effect on the ice, allowing them to better mimic their real-life counterparts.

STRATEGY ASSISTANCE

Game strategies have been completely updated to make them easier to understand and allow you to determine the ideal plan to suit your playing style. At a glance:

Two new advanced strategies for special teams: the NHL' s core strategies of the wedge (1-1-2), shorthanded and power play 1-3-1 are now part of the player's skill set. They complement the updated existing special teams strategies to more closely match what is seen in NHL games today.

Player roles on the power play: you can now split three distinct roles on the power play: passer, finisher and puck carrier. The AI will know which roles players are assigned and will decide where to send the puck based on position, situation and X-factor tendencies.

New instructional videos: Carrlyn Bathe breaks down the finer details of shorthanded and power play strategies in a series of new videos.

Celebrating with the Stanley Cup: A new interactive celebration of the Stanley Cup victory will offer additional options when it's time to enjoy the triumph in Organization mode. Choose who raises the Cup above their head first, have your name engraved on the pedestal and much more.

Hattricks: the signature throwing of hats on the ice during a hat trick returns, and you'll also get the option to customize your triple-goal celebration.

Big Moments: A series of new animations for exciting moments such as reversals, overtime, shootouts and playoff celebrations.

Light Show: New and authentic light shows after goals are scored in NHL games.

HOCKEY ULTIMATE TEAM™

HUT Rivals Playlist: The completely redesigned HUT Rivals mode will now offer a HUT Rivals Playlist feature, allowing players to compete in a variety of new and changing match formats.

Rewards in HUT Rivals: based on community feedback, you can now unlock three additional levels of rewards for winning or winning streaks, which you will receive instantly.

Integration of IIHF Women's National Teams. This allows you to create a dream team of the best athletes in the world. In addition, national teams now have both basic and upgraded items for various events.
