High-quality design

The Driving Force steering wheel can easily handle the stresses of racing action and has been built for long-term reliability. The G29 steering wheel features solid steel ball bearings in the steering shaft and stainless steel lever switches and pedals. The racing steering wheel is covered in high quality, hand-stitched leather to evoke the feel of a performance race car steering wheel, allowing for a more comfortable and secure grip.

Worm gears with no backlash

The steering wheel gives you exceptionally smooth, quiet and precise steering. Worm gears have been modelled on those used in automotive transmissions to reduce unwanted noise and vibration. Backlash reduction keeps the steering wheel and pedals in a resting position for maximum steering precision. The G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel features a reliable, long-life Hall-effect rotation sensor that uses magnetic fields to determine steering wheel position.

Easily accessible game controls

All controls are conveniently within easy reach. The D-Pad, buttons and paddle switches are integrated into the racing wheel. LED indicators located directly above the centre of the steering wheel let you know exactly when to shift up or down a gear. You can maintain maximum acceleration without taking your eyes off the track. The 24-position rotary selector and +/- buttons on the front of the steering wheel also allow you to fine-tune your steering preferences.

Sensitive floor unit with pedals

Maintain a more realistic driving position with a separate floor unit with pedals that integrate the throttle, brake and clutch. The G29 Driving Force steering wheel lets you brake, accelerate and shift gears comfortably, just like in a real car.

The non-linear brake pedal mimics the response of a pressure-sensitive braking system for even more responsive and precise braking. For even more precise control, you can position the pedal faces to make heel-toe maneuvers easier to perform.

With a rubberised base for hard surfaces and a patented pull-out carpet grip system, the pedals stay exactly where you put them.

Secure fit

Drive with confidence knowing the steering wheel won't move during aggressive manoeuvres. The racing steering wheel can be securely attached to a table or racing kit via integrated lugs or screw fixing points.

Rotation range 900°

The 900-degree (stop-to-stop) rotation of the G29 Driving Force steering wheel allows the steering wheel to turn two and a half turns. This is the same range of motion as the steering wheel of a real car.

Steering wheel stripe

Through a visual aid in your peripheral vision, you can easily see if the steering wheel is turned. The strip on the steering wheel is a visual indicator of which way the steering wheel is turned.
