Printer with dynamic security

Some HP printers are designed to run only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip or electronic circuitry. These printers use dynamic security measures to block cartridges with a chip or electronic circuitry other than HP. Regular firmware updates ensure that these measures are effective and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and electronic circuits allow you to take advantage of reused, refurbished, or refilled cartridges.
