The user can freely choose whether the integrated display should show the set temperature values or the measured temperature (5 to 35 °C) or humidity (1 to 99%) values, or both values alternately. The device can be operated independently of the Homematic IP floor heating direct actuator control system (HmIP-FAL). System operation The wireless connection of the wall sensor (HmIP-STHD) to the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) offers convenient setup and control of the comprehensive Homematic IP smart home system using only an intuitive app (for Android and iOS in CZ) designed for smartphones. The mobile app enables instant response to messages and alerts from your smart home system and connects all Homematic IP devices via a free, unlimited cloud, which allows you to set up and control the system from anywhere in the world, transfer important information and update the software and firmware of the devices, and forward configuration and operational commands from the Homematic IP app towards individual smart home devices. Intelligent control The measured values are cyclically transmitted via the Central Unit (HmIP-HAP) to the Homematic IP smart mobile app, thus simultaneously enabling remote control and individual room climate control. By simply looking at the smartphone screen in the app, the user receives real information not only about the temperature but also about the current humidity in the respective room, even when he is outside the monitored building (e.g. when travelling). Thanks to the integrated sensor, it allows, among other things, to evaluate the humidity status of the room and thus effectively control the air conditioning or ventilation. The system becomes truly sophisticated when combining the thermostatic head (HmIP-eTRV), window and door sensor (HmIP-SWDx) and Central Unit (HmIP-HAP), where all the system functionality can be fully utilised including intelligent heating prediction for maximum energy savings. Up to several weekly temperature profiles, different daily temperature increase or decrease modes (per day and room) or a range of advanced scenarios can be set in the mobile app (for Android and iOS in CZ). When creating profiles and scenarios, you can take into account all your needs for heating automation with regard to energy savings and sensible temperature. You can set the night mode so that you get a good night's sleep, wake up to a comfortable temperature in the morning and enter a pre-heated bathroom. Easy installation Wireless communication and battery operation offer easy installation without the need for wiring.
