The history of the ECG brand dates back to 1996, when the brand was founded and the first ECG products appeared. The microwave ovens were a huge sales success. Especially thanks to attractive prices and a relatively wide range of products, they became a big competitor to traditional brands in the early days. After a few years of sales, another important feature, reliability, also became apparent. Microwave ovens have thus become the cornerstone of the ECG range. K+B Progres, the owner of the ECG brand, has continued to invest considerable effort and resources in the development of other ranges. Thanks to a well-chosen strategy of offering quality products at attractive prices, other products from the range of small household appliances have become successful representatives of the ECG brand. The continuous expansion of the range of small kitchen and household appliances has enabled the brand to gradually gain positions on the shelves of specialist electrical stores and retail chains. Even in the following period, the brand did not stand still, within a few years it entered the audio video and TV ranges. In the following years, it expanded into the category of so-called large household appliances, such as refrigerators, automatic washing machines, dishwashers, etc. This was followed by a logical expansion into built-in appliances, i.e. entering this category with quality and affordable models of built-in hobs, ovens and kitchen hoods. This made ECG a brand with a comprehensive range of consumer electronics and home appliances.
