Training with gradient simulation up to 7%

The Tacx Flow Smart trainer is a smart cycling trainer that can be linked to training apps such as Zwift, Tacx or Rouvy. It is designed for use with a full bike and offers easy setup and storage.

Maximum stability

Flow Smart allows reliable and accurate measurement of speed, power and cadence without the use of external sensors.

Built for performance

The flywheel of the Flow Smart trainer is compact, but still manages to simulate the effect of an 11.8 kg inertial mass, so you feel like you're actually riding outside. It can realistically simulate inclines of up to 7%.

Real endurance

No matter how hard you train, this cycle trainer will last. Your bike can be easily and firmly clipped in, so you can lean into the pedals and be confident you won't go anywhere. The Flow Smart trainer also has a single cylinder made of hardened steel casing that won't wear out.

Smooth and quiet operation

The Flow Smart trainer has a compact flywheel weighing 1.6 kg and a soft plastic core cylinder that absorbs vibrations, making it one of the quietest flywheel cycling trainers on the market.

Connection options

The trainer is compatible with a wide variety of popular training applications. So whether you want to venture into the virtual world of Zwift or use a variety of other platforms like Strava or Rouvy, you've never experienced so many smart ride options.

Train your way

The Flow Smart trainer can use the innovative Tacx Training™ software for indoor training. As a result, you now have structured training plans specifically for your performance level to help you reach your goals. To make sure you really enjoy your time in the saddle, you have a library of quality training routes to take you up steep Alpine hills or even the cobbled streets of Milan. You can race against live opponents or virtual training partners, connect to your Strava account and ride 3D maps or create your own workouts with the gradient, power, heart rate or FTP you need. You can even use the bike trainer completely without software. In this case, the trainer uses a progressive power curve. This means that its resistance increases progressively with the speed of the ride, simulating a ride on a smooth road. You can also use the cycle trainer completely without software.
