Routers, gateways and internet connections
4G/5G (LTE) routers with SIM - internet via mobile network
4G/5G (LTE) routers with SIM are ideal for internet without a fixed line. They are great for homes, cottages, offices and businesses where a wired connection is not available, or when you need reliable backup internet. When you insert a SIM card, the router connects the network to the mobile internet and creates a stable connection for your device.
You can choose between models for everyday use and more powerful solutions for heavier workloads, multiple connected devices or more demanding environments. 4G/LTE and 5G support, local signal quality and the ability to connect external antennas are also important.
How to choose a 4G/5G router with SIM: What to look for
Mobile signal availability and quality
Check operator coverage and signal strength at the point of use. In poorer conditions, a router with the ability to connect an external antenna will help.
5G vs. 4G/LTE
For the highest speeds and a long-term perspective, consider 5G. For everyday use, a quality LTE solution will often suffice.
Number of devices and performance
The more devices that are connected, the more important the router performance and stability of the connection under load.
